I thought it looked like a 9mm barrel because ot the locking lug in front of the chamber. That is much bigger as the one on my.30 barrel.
If you interested, I still have the additional pictures that the original poster send me. I can foreward them if you want, but I have no idea if this set is still for sale. |

I just took a look at the barrel on my 30 and I see what you mean, seems I recall reading in
another post that the barrel from a 9mm would not fit a 30 slide. I'll have to see if I can find that.

Correct, the 9mm barrel is to much different from the .30.
However, if remember correctly, the Original poster said his combination slide/barrel did fit as 'a unit'. Pictures are forewarded, let me know if you got them OK. |

Recieved the pictures fine. Thank you.
This is something I have been thinking about for sometime, a M1 30 Carbine witha Johnson
5.7mm bbl and a Automag III with a convertible 5.7mm barrel, just to be different...
Thanks and any other word of wisdom you might have on such a project please post up...
