Steve They look great and not to thick, are you going to leave them polished or seal / clear coat them, I don't know if they will tarnish if left raw Question I have, I wonder if you can anodize titanium ?????????? Ed

Hi Ed, When I get them I'll probably do a few steps in fine sanding & some polishing on a buffing wheel. I'm not sure are about them tarnishing & I don't know if they can be anodized. I'm planing on leaving them with a polished finish.

After I asked my question I looked up on my computer desk and saw the answer, I sent you a pic of that key chain that's made out of Titanium well I made that in 1991-1992 and I never did anything to protect it and it looks the same as the day I made it so guess there's my answer, cant wait to see them in person Hows the other project going Ed

Hello Ed, Well that's good news. I'm in no hurry on the other projects William has going on for me , that was a lot of work he had done in such a short time with the Titanium grips & an amazingly beautiful job at that.

I just got some new information from William on the Ti. grips.
The Titanium weighs in at 9 1/2 oz. & the Aluminum weighs in at 6oz. Since the Titanium is so strong maybe I could do a little skeletonizing ....you know lighten them up a bit.....but then they won't float .....I guess they wouldn't have floated from the beginning right.... ![]() Here some good news for you Ed the Titanium CAN be Anodized......red, green, blue, purple, gold, orange, clear, oh & your favorite Ed black.......so who can checker them is your next question

I just received the titanium grips from William so I did a little more sanding, 400, 500, 600, 800.
I don't know if I like the satin or the polished finish......I guess I could leave each side different... Oh by the way while polishing on the buffer Titanium doesn't heat like Aluminum. |

My question is how do polished grips look on a rough cast frame?
