Now that the oral arguments are done before the Supreme Court, no we have to wait to see if they vote with some common sense. If they rule in our favor, I doubt they anti's will give up. All the useless laws they pass hoping to ensnare us in their trap.
Guns are here, guns are not going away unless the public loses so much interest in them that they all become antiques. I hope I am not around to see that debacle.

Aloha! We here are waiting with high hopes the re-affirm our right to keep and carry. When they do, we will double our fight for shall issue CCW. Hawaii's A.G. is backing the D.C. ban. Anybody want a used A.G.? cheap!

| Geez, I was kind of hoping the Hawaii would be at least as gun friendly as Kalifornia! I had it on my short list for retirement. Isn't your Gov. republican? I know your reps. are anti's but my uncle used to hunt on the big island. Man, what is the world coming too? |

| Aloha, Conpared to California, Hawaii is a free gun zone. We can own just about anything except full auto and some minor specialty firearms. We are fighting the Police over the .50 BMG. They want to ban it because "its used to shoot down airplanes" LOL! A trained sniper would have trouble just hitting the airplane. I work with a group to keep California laws out of Hawaii. Fight the good fight! |

The most unbelieveable thing is...there are 20 million illegal immigrants in this country, the fedearal govt does little about this problem, and local govt does Nothing! These people are driving around without licenses, insurance or any financial responsibilites on our roads. They use all of our federal programs to fund their existance, and contiue to work using fake SS numbers claiming 8 dependents on their tax documents.
Just amazes me that people try to take away our second amendment rights. Why does ligitamate citizens have to show a passports when entering the country, if there are 20 million reasons why we shouldn't?
I feel that if Kalifornia wants to go against the Constitution of the United States, then all federal funding should be taken away. This goes for mASSachuteses too.
I mean Come On!!!.... Barack HUSSIEN Oboma???? Hillary Klinton??

| That may be, but at least one state is starting to enforce it's laws, Arizona. As of the 1st of this year they started fining & deporting illegal workers. Doesn't do much for Kali. but more power to them! Go Sheriff Joe!!! I wish he would come here, but all the libs would tie his hands with lawsuits. Az is another state on the short list, plus their a class 3 state! |

Just realize, they are saying NO to guns, and the law abiding people who own them, and YES to illegal immigration, to break the LAW. I don't understand. Criminals will always have guns.....People who want to protect themself from people who break the law.....have to just yell "stop that!!" "Don't shoot me!!" "Hillary Help!".
I have been run over by a van, E-350, full of 6 illegal immigrants. All six, fled the scene. I was on a Harley. They Blew a stop sign at 50-70 according to witnesses. When caught, approx. 1 mile from the scene, only the driver was charged with anything. I lost a leg, almost a hand, and my wife has permanant brain damage.
The driver was able to bond out for $1500. He had no insurance, no license, no anything.
We had $630,000 in medical costs. What do you think our govt does to find this person?
I will tell you. They, when the charge was increased to a $75000. bond, returned $500 for the initial charge being changed to a new one. He never showed his face again, but has no reason to leave. He will just give another name when they catch him again.
But I cant have a gun?
Six months later, I am rear ended by a hispanic with no license. He was released at the scene.
8 months later, I am riding a bicycle, with one leg, and in a crosswalk, I am hit by a car. The driver again, has no license, no insurance....He is released at the scene, I am in the back of an ambulance....What happens now? He doesn't pay his tickets...What does my wonderful govt do? They say... and I quote...." We will suspend his license if he doesn't pay his fine"...the reason he has no license?? he was already double revoked..
And who says I can't own certain types of arms to protect myself?? My govt doesn't protect me...
Not to pick on CA.... but to realize, they are inching closer and closer to controlling your every move... Do the majority of LEGAL Kalifornians really want 50BMG banned from the state???
The majority don't even know what it is. So lets ban it?
Tell me that they don't consider an Automag a short barreled rifle...
All states should take some of sheriff Joes practices to heart.
Hell, I live in Florida.... they can't even vote right here.
Maybe IQ tests should be given prior to voting...or maybe prior to being on the ballet

| BH, that's tragic! I would have said criminal but we already new that! I think that if illegals commit a crime here they should do the time here. We could build a special prison just for them. Then after they complete(and I do mean complete) their sentence, they would be deported. Second offense/crime would be 10 yrs automatic (not semi). Hey, my mom & her family were put in an "internment camp" during WWII by the Gov. Matter of fact that would be a good area to build the special prison. Wasn't nothing out there then and there's nothing out there now. If it's good enough for U.S. citizens then it's more than good enough for illegals. What do u guys think? |

Society wants the Govt to protect children. Why aren't parents protecting thier children? Every day. I see children playing in the streets, walking the streets, totally unattended. When something happens to them, then it is someone elses fault. The leading cause of death for children 16-21 years old is car accidents, caused by them. Should we ban them from driving? Statistics say yes!
Society is being dictated by knee jerk reactions. Also by politicians who don't vote like their people want them to.
