Edit: The factory ammo referenced above is SBR Ammunition's 240-gr load (Lot 190222, to be specific).

All loads using a 240-gr Hornady XTP through a 6.5" TDE

When you say "factory ammo" do you mean SBR ammo?  Norma ammo?  Corbon ammo?

Just curious.

Thats Cool! They look pretty close in power. My favorite loads are either 21.5 or 22-22.5gr of Win 296 under any 240gr jacketed bullet. Seems to work very well in that power range. Thankfully Starline keeps making brass so we have reliable cases. I hate forming brass, and I don't think it's very consistant if you do. Others may have a different experience but I don't like forming brass. Thanks for posting! I always enjoy performance info!!Big smile

A guy on the 10mm forum does factory ammo pull downs.  I sent him 2 of the SBR 240 grain loads and they are loading 23 grains of H110/296.

That's what Buddy  at SBR told me they are loaded at, just checking around to see if anyone has used them and there thoughts, I have heard nothing but positive comments   Big smile unless I missed a post.
So I guess it's like when in Rome, do as the Roman's do .

23 gr of H110/296, behind a 240gr XTP, is a fairly average/standard load.  Although 22-22.5 gr is my "plinking load" that works reliably in my "shooter", I see why they may have gone .5 gr more, to  e reliable in just about any AM without being "too hot".

Quite a few people on here have talked about SBR ammo with nothing but positive from what I recall.  I don't think you can go wrong with it.

I have not heard one negative comment about SBR and Buddy is so easy to talk with Smile so that's why I just ordered 500 rounds this morning and am looking froward to taking this thing out for the first time, my grips should be here Monday.  Big smile
