Come to think of it, I think one of you folks were going to get me a set of grips from William in exchange for some Auto Mag parts,,, Damn, I really should write this stuff down,,, Tough to get old and give away Auto Mag parts and not remember what or to who. I think it was a cocking piece, maybe,,, Damn CRS (can't remember,,, Stuff) Ok, I'll have to leave it to the other person to remind me. Pretty sure it was a cocking piece. | Update just to let every one know Iam not taking orders on the grips they will be random material and all of the first group will be for the big AM I have a few sets ready for the finish on them but have had a little set back I have used up my finish and the stores have quit carrying it in the stores so I have to order it on line and its 2 weeks delivery on it so its going to be about 3 weeks before Ill have any ready. I will post pics. when I have them ready with kind of material,price and number to identify and will be a first claim first get. |

The wait is about over I got my finishing material in Thursday evening and have been working frantic to get the finish on about 15 sets . Let me REMIND everyone that the wood grips or more or less for show most of the exotic woods will NOT take the recoil I have not heard of a problem with the Dymondwood and I know the Micarta works . To give everyone a chance Iam letting you know now I will post them at 8:00pm central time Monday evening. |

| On the grips I will be posting tonight I will be asking for payment in USPS M/O's all prices will be plus shipping . I have also dug through my private collection and will have a total of 18 AM grips , 6 automag II grips , and 5 grips for the automag III,IV and V. |

PS guys Iam getting phone calls , e-mails , PM's since I posted about these grips of people wanting to see the grips and have first shot at them before I post them I would like to be fair to everyone that wants a set so the only way I know to do it is if you see one or more that you want if any POST Number or Numbers of the grips you would like to have that way I can see and so can everyone else to see what left I will go in claim on order of post. Good luck managing this, I fear it may be tough. Given the limited quantity, have you considered auctioning them? That may be the easiest and most fair. Just a thought. Very impressive, all of them! I tend to like very dark colored grips such as Ironwood, but these are interesting. I think #15 will be the most interesting to see on a gun. Congrats to all the buyers, I'm sure you will be happy. GH ------------- Who was that masked man,,, |

Just wanted to say it's funny GH how you picked 15 Brent I think you will be really happy with this set of grips because the black Buckeye Burl is really neat wood in good light if you move them around it looks like the grain in them moves around. GH I also want to thank you for your compliments and confidence in my work and also want to thank Larry for his help in getting these posted. And Thanks to all that has taken grips so far it makes me fill good that my work is appreciated. |

I only wish I had half your talent. As for the #15 set, there was something about that set that caught my eye immediately. With few exceptions, I don't care for light colored grips on the Auto Mag, but there is something about that set that looked unique. And thats not to say I don't like the others, your workmanship looks outstanding as usual but the coloring of the lighter grips just doest work for my eye. That #15 set just looks different. Brent will be a happy man! By the way, the Micarta griips are also interesting as are the Urethane set. Love Micarta and if they were in say black/white/gray I probably would have been drooling over them. Hope you keep up the work on grips, we all enjoy seeing whats next from you! Great looking grips. I am glad that you decided to do some. It is a shame I just found this thread today as most of the grips I really like are already spoken for. However I did not own an Auto MAg before yesterday, but that has been fixed I have large hands. I really like the look of #11 It only looks like #13 remains in the non-thin style grips. So I will take those
