Aloha Ian,  I don't need the screw hole dimesions from your Automag II.  I modified a 4 slot picatinny rail to fit my Automag III. I am waiting for the Burris fastfire to come in. I'll post pics of it compleated.   Mahalo, Gordon

Aloha,

The Sight is a Burris Fastfire using a Picatinny mount with protector wings.
The Picatinny rail, I milled down to fit the rear sight channel.
The Holster is a Bladetech offset drop Kydex holster for a 1911. I customed it to fit the Automag. A little heat, a little persuasion, BIMBO!
The mag pouches are from Elite Survival Systems. They are made for Glock 21 magazines.

Found it on Auction Arms. A dealer had an Automag III with grip scope mount. His asking price was kinda high, so I emailed and asked if he would sell the mount separately. He said yes. Lucked out, can't even find an article that tells who made the original mounts. Maybe I need to look for a large silver laser to put on it! I'll be back!Cool

Aloha Everyone,
I have a grip scope mount coming in for my Automag III.
I am trying to find out who made the laser sight in Terminator 1.

Confused

The closest I have found is a "Laser Technologies" laser sight, I am sorry to say that if are trying to mimic the pistol used in Terminator you will need a new one as it was not the AutoMag III it was the HardBaller Landslide in .45acp.

Check with Stembridge Gun Rentals. They may have had the gun used in the movie.

Shortly after the movie came out one of the gun magazines said the "laser sight" was just a movie prop; nobody actually made a laser sight that small.

As has been said it was a one off by a company that would soon become SureFire :)

This is the setup with the power cell etc.

Aloha, I bought the hrip scope mount, but couldn't use my belt holster with it. Instead: customed machined a picatinny rail and replaced the rear sight. Added a Burris Fastfire.

That is on the wish list.

But at the very top of the wish / need list is an Automag IV in 10 MM Win Mag.

That one has eluded me for a while now.

Brilliant, how did I never think to put 44AMP rounds in a 308 stripper clip?

Aloha Ian,

I HAVE THE GRIP SCOPE MOUNT FOR THE AUTOMAG III. IT IS THE SAME AS THE ONE SOLD ON GUNBROKER THIS PAST DECEMBER. I AM THINKING OF SELLING IT. IT HAS A RED LASER WITH GRIP SWITCH ON IT. DO YOU THINK ANYONE WOULD BE INTERESTED?

Well: not as Brilliant as it may seem.
Those are actually Speed strips made by Safariland, or Tuff products.
They display the ammo nicely in my cases.
