All,
I recently stumbled across the April 1972 issue of Gun World magazine on Ebay, which had what is likely the very first article written on reloading the 357 AMP. I bought it and snapped photos to create a sharable PDF (unfortunately I don't have a proper scanner). I sent it to Ian for uploading to his site but will also share it here. |

Memories.. I worked at Gun World starting in 1989. I left in 92. At first I was the mail clerk, but after a year, Jack Lewis (owner) made me a gun writer for Gun World. Before I worked there, I was a fanatic for the Automag, but was way too broke to own one. I bought my first Automag (357) from Dean Grennell, the author of that article. Dean was my reloading mentor and helped me with loads, load data and how to write a reloading article. Dean really supported me during the development of .40 KMP. He was a class act. One of the characters I miss from the past. Enjoy Eric

Mike,
Thanks for bringing that to life. I might have that somewhere, but scanned is nice. Jason
