All,
Spent a pleasant morning with my Hardballer yesterday: ![]() It’s so rewarding to shoot. Even though due to typical AMT quality control issues the rear sight is tilted slightly to the left, it’s easy to overcome the slightly odd sight picture. Using cheap junk generic hardball ammo (as befitting the name), my best group at 15 yards saw all rounds touching in a ragged hole apart from one called flyer. So fun!

Here is the aforementioned group:
![]() I’m far from the greatest shot and I tend to string my shots vertically due to my own error. In this particular case I strung them horizontally. The one at 2 o’clock was a called flyer and the one at 9 o’clock was a called flyer from a different target altogether! I would be very interested to see how this gun would perform in the hands of somebody who could genuinely shoot well….

I have the regular 5 inch hardballer and I love it. It shoots almost as good as any of my other 1911's. A rare stovepipe once in a while is all I have ever experienced with it!
