I just picked up a Automag IV because the guy lost the guide rod, plug and spring. Can anyone give me the dimensions of these parts? I’m thinking the guide rod is a 1911 style but I’m not sure it’s the same length. And it’s possible the spring is a 1911 as well. Thanks!

Here's the drawing I made for both the plug and recoilrod as requested.
Anything to help fellow AMT owners...

Just one note: the OAL of MY recoilrod is shorter as the original. It's converted (by the previous owner) to use with a regular bushing wrench. If you want the original length, you should add -the thickness of the lip of the barrel bushing- to the length of the rod.
As for the small plate welded to the rod, I included the MAX diameter of .700 as it might be made from a round disc that size. (Not sure but guess it would work)

That should get you going...

I have the spring ordered from Wolff, when I get back to the shop I'll get started on the rod and plug.

The total length of the original guiderod is 5,59”. So Luc’s measurement of 5,45” is actually 5,59” if you want the complete original length.
