Rick, first off you need to store the picture that you want shown on a hosting site. I use www.photobucket.com
On this site click on the member control panel, go to edit profile and down to select avatar. Then you will use the picture stored on your hosting site and upload to the site. |

Rick, you can also upload pictures directly from your own computer.
I'll try to explain how to do:
First click on the symbol to open your internet browser again, without closing this one!
Now go to this Automagpistol forum again on the second webbrowser. Now you can switch between this text and try the instructions below.
Things to do in the second web browser:
click on "member control panel" (you find this text on all of the pages here, in the upper left corner)
Second; click on "edit profile", now scrol down the page to find "avatar upload" (in red text) and click on this text.
Third: A new window will open, click on the "browse button" (I'm not sure this is the correct word for it in English, but it's to find upper right in this window)
Now another window will open, and lead you to the files on your personal computer.
Now you have to choose the picture you want from your computer, and then click on "upload", then click OK.
Now you should see the picture in the small window, and on all your posts.
Feel free to ask if you need more information.

I hope to be at the CSA shoot in Clarksville this Saturday. Its a 3 day event but I can only do one day. We plink at steel targets all day long. 50 to 70 usually show up. Mostly pistols. Good friends. Lots of Bull Droppings. Some trading. We are down in a small valley. Completly surrounded by mountains and trees. Pretty place......Rick
