A bit off our Auto Mag........I've been working on a set of Titanium grips for my CZ 75 TS. I still have more work to do but after almost 10 months I thought I would post a few images here. The original titanium stock started out at 1.75" thick. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thank you Bulls Eye, If anyone can attest to how difficult titanium is to work with it's William. He did an amazingly great job on my 44 Auto Mag grips ! I'm now working on a comp for my CZ 75-TS, at least it will be much easier than grips. |

William told me that the titanium grips matched the stainless finish very well and looked great. As you say, they took a lot of work and time to produce.
How does the "New Auto Mag" barrel function on your old frame? Where was your frame produced? Did you get a new bolt along with the New Barrel?

Hello there master BC, haven't talked with you in a long while. The titanium is a lot of work on all aspects like fine sanding to get ready for polishing if that's what is required. The frame I'm using with the new barrel & new style bolt is a Pasadena unit. I have about 350 rounds through it to date. I acquired this barrel & bolt ............ wow I can't remember how many years it's been now, maybe a record of it here somewhere. The set came as barrel, bolt & recoil springs as I recall. You don't want to never ever mix new style bolts with new style barrels ! The new barrels are meant to use with the new style bolts only ! |

One more question, what's the history of the 10 1/2" silhouette barrel stenciled as a Pasadena?

I have said this many times, I purchased that barrel from a very small Auto Mag store in North Hollywood many years ago. Unfortunately I have no purchase records. This was on display in a glass case, they gave me a good price off the tag & I bought it.

They were all made in the Model B or 280 series long after Pasadena was closed up.

Interesting, this one was by it self in the case. As I told Bruce a while back I remember taking a photo of this small store but I'm not able to find it.
