 make a long story short: put hide in deep freeze for storage but freezer went bad!
enough to burn your nostrils! lota work down the tubes!

That's not the first time I've heard of freezers going bad and game being spoiled. It happened to two different friends. One of them, the hunting dog got tangled up in the cord and pulled it and it was weeks before being discovered. This sort of thing happens.
 
Anyway, congratulations on your grizz!! How did you go about the hunt? Was the shot difficult?

  took a 4wheeler 15mi. up the beach scoping the foothills saw two bears grazing out on the flats this bear (a young female 6ft.) and mebe its brother? never was sure. walked strait up to about 150yrd. no cover on the tundra anyway, this one finaly noticed me and stood up facing me and i drilled it through the chest. it bowled over backwards and did a little dance (didnt know it was dead yet) put a second round in it and she never moved again. 4 seconds but an eternity in my mind....
