Yes, I saw that one.
I guess the extra slide and barrel will be for the 10mm Auto. Not the 10mm Magnum.
The picture of the magazine (bottom) could be an insert/spacer for the 10mm Auto. (shorter cartridge.) Just my guess...

Maybe if we're lucky the new owner might educate us more here.

There is an exceptionally nice 9mm gun on GB right now:

Where does one find reloading dies? I know Starline has brass:

Yeah I saw that 9mm one. The last one sold just a couple days ago for almost 5k it was also part of the Dick Metcalf collection. I may try for this 9mm one.

I have yet to investigate it/try it but most of the information I came across says you can use regular 9mm die set for 9win mag. I did some hunting for
9win mag dies and wasn't finding much of anything.

Other than the sizing die not possibly being long enough ( ie, deep enough), 40/10mm dies should be good along with 9mm for the magnum rounds.

Sorry Jason, I think you made an error here.
To load the 9mm Magnum the .40/10mm dies will be to big in diameter.
However for the 10mm Magnum any 40 cal or 10mm dies will work. I use a 40cal Lee carbide dieset for the 10mm Magnum without a problem.

I guess you're correct that any 9mm Luger dieset would NOT work for the 9mm Magnum, as the 9 Luger is a tapered case and will probably size the longer 9mm Magnum case to small in diameter.
For the 9mm Magnum, I would try a dieset for .38 or 357 Mag. Just my guess, as I have no experience with the 9mm Magnum.

Luc,

Yes I meant 9mm Luger for 9mm magnum and 40S&W/10mm for 10mm magnum.

You are absolutely correct that the 9mm Luger is tapered just like the 44 AMP. And that makes using it for sizing longer cases questionable.  Most 9mm Luger carbide dies are a compromise like the 44 AMP carbide dies are.

I have a 9x23 Win and have actual 9x23 RCBS dies that are different than what is sold today which works for 9x19, 9x21, and 9x23 supposedly.

Good hearing from you!

Jason

38super is straight wall, so if I could ever find a 9mm magnum i would try those.

I have a set of real 9mm Winchester Magnum dies.  I'm pretty sure they are RCBS.  I'll check next time I get to my other shop where my loading stuff resides.

Run it up, until you blow it up, then back it down a bit.
