Hello all.
I'm looking to purchase my first Auto Mag, and could use some advice. I'm looking for a gun that I can shoot occasionally and enjoy, maybe 4 or 5 boxes of ammo a year. I know where a Pasadena Auto Mag is at. The gun does not come with the original box or any accessories. The only thing included in the deal is the gun and one magazine. The condition is described by the seller to be excellent plus, and from the photos I looked at the gun appears to not have been shot much if any. Asking price is $2100. Is this a fair price? Thanks for the help! |

Well, if you're looking for an interesting and fun pistol to shoot, the Automag is what you want.
About the value or price, it's like all other things you want to buy, it is only worth whatever YOU want to give for it.
Anyway, here is another example at a lower price:
I hope this info is of some help to you.

Here is another popular site to use for price comparisons. It has recently had several AMs. One of the ones there now is a Pasadena. I think the prices you'll see there generally are less than at auction - http://www.gunsamerica.com/Search.aspx?T=auto+mag
I paid less than that for my unfired new condition Pasadena, but it was several years ago. I now don't consider it for shooting, but as a collector item only.
There's also a .475 Wildey there and it's priced about like the Auto Mag.

I bought my two ElMonte's (160's) for 5000. They came in original TDE boxes (minus foam) One came with wooden grips. I have not fired them, and they appear to be unfired. I would have paid 6000. The also came with the Jurras logoed shoulder holster.
