They look great William!!

Have you fired the AM with the grips on it yet? Just wondering how they hold up.

Those are brilliant looking!  I love the horizontal wood grain in them.  The colour/tone of the wood is nice too (if the tint in the photo is accurate) - has a sort of orangey hue to it.  It looks like tiger stripes. Awesome.  What kind of wood did you use? Are they lacquered or oil rubbed, or...?

John I have not fired the AM with them on it I just finished them yesterday it took me a week to make these working on them a little each day after work and they are a pain in the ___ to make to tell you the truth I dont know if I will or not this set any way because if they did brake I would have a walleyefit if you know what that is Iam going to make at least one maybe two more sets and hopefully they will get a little easier with pratice if they do I may make more. 
AutoMagyar  they or made out of cocobolo and that is the color of them I finish them with a water base polyurethane because of the oils in the wood I dont polish I dont have the stuff to do so.

Send them My way and I will test them for you!!!!!LOL.  I'll let you know if they hold up after I use them for awhile, and I promise I will clean them before I send them back!!!!

Larry I found some more wood I think going to render the same effect I hope but its not cocobolo its bocote.
