Here's a video shooting an M1 Carbine chambered in 10mm Magnum. Tony Rumore Tromix |

Run it up, until you blow it up, then back it down a bit.

I like "Thumpers", Jeff Cooper would be proud.
Good Job. Eric

It's not quite a Jeff Cooper thumper. Here's one version of his criteria: -18” with Stock Folded -4.5 Pounds -Ghost Ring Sights -3.5 pound Trigger Pull -Fires 44 Auto Mag -10” Barrel -Muzzle Brake that unlocks the action and acts like a brake -Square Front Post -Can be fired with stock folded -Flash Loading System – empty mag is partially ejected on last shot. However, Mr Cooper didn't always repeat the "thumper" definition exactly the same. I know there was one time he mentioned it should fire a cartridge "similar" to a 44 Auto Mag, and be configured "similar" to an M1 Carbine, and have a magazine capacity of 20 rounds. Tony |

Yep, I'm aware in what Cooper envisioned, but I'm still waiting for the "exact" rifle to be made. There's been a couple close resemblances, but nothing exact. Eric

Very cool rifle in a cool caliber. I've got a GI pattern M1 made by Universal (serial date's it to 1966 or 67 I believe). It's a blast to shoot, especially when paired with my Automag 3
