That's funny, I was just reading a gun article written by Eric many years ago.
I was looking at picking up a Pauza-50 and he had done a T&E on it for one of the gun rags.

I read some of the russian articles Bruce posted a while ago, and saw a brief article about the 8mm KMP.
I wonder how that turned out?

Enjoy the day Eric!

After the collapse of Brian Maynard, I had to start from Scratch. I current have a barrel in the rough with a Maxi-mount ring attached. I just need to finish it, and start doing the test loads. Kinda lost a little interest when Brian vaporized with may barrel blanks, money and so on. I'll get it up and going again.

Thanks for asking.

Eric

Thanks for posting that.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard Pauza made those guns on manual machining equipment.  No CNC's.  He just had a couple manual Bridgeport mills.....did it all old-school.

I always wanted one of those Pauzas, but ended up with a Serbu 50A.  It's a nice rifle.  Serial Number 15.  I think Mark kept the first 10 serial number receivers for himself, since my gun was one of the first five that he shipped.

I considered buying one of Mark's 50s. Maybe someday. Another one I've always wanted was RNDs 50. The guy that makes them is Lloyd Desantis. Great guy. His runs for 12k. http://rnd-rifles.com/tag/50-bmg/

I believe you're right about making them on a manual mill. Oldschool!

Robert is still out in the shop, developing. I guess he's working on a pistol currently.
