Hi Ed,

I buy them in the US and then export from the US and import into the UK, it was quite costly and members of this forum where invaluable in recommending reputable individuals & companies to work with, all in all it took about 5 years to get them in my hands.

Ammo is an interesting one, at the moment I have permission to bring ammo in from Europe (Belgium again members on this forum have been invaluable with this) so I go over for a day out and bulk buy the ammo, I an not too sure hoe this will pan out after Brexit but I may need to start reloading when that time comes.

Just remember that it only needs 38 states (as I understand it) to overturn the second amendment,  and while that sounds like a lot of states when the mood take a politician and they need a headline they will run with it, we in the United Kingdom made the mistake of standing with a dignified voice as things would never get to a ban, that is where we where told by the UK NRA (not quite a political at the USA NRA), if you want to keep your second amendment rights then you need to not only be vocal but you need to keep the politicians feet to the fire, don’t give an inch as they will take a mile.

Learn from the dutiful and let down British.

I agree with you but we are in the minority but the tide seams to be swinging into our favor.
Look at other countries England, Australia, Mexico, Japan and the list goes on .
Our for fathers took care of us but what if our government abolished the 2nd amendment like the Democrats keep suggesting, what would you do ??????????? hand them over or risk going to jail.
We need to vote and protect our rights and apply for your CCW if you qualify.
There are 3 types of people that vote
1. Those who watch things happen
2. Those that wonder what happened
3. Those who make things happen
Where do you fit in on the 3, I have never missed voting since 1980

I  like the way you think, hold the politicians accountable for how they vote.
I personally think you would see a second civil war here in the US if it ever came to that, I would estimate the voluntary turn in rate would be less than 10% from the people but the possibility of jail time might raise that a bit.

Yes I too think your a #3 on the list and you should be proud of that and how you raised your children.......job well done.
Your from Texas right, how hard is it to get a CCW in Texas, I was just wondering.
I'm from California and its a PITA and only good for two years but I continue to exercise my constitutional right's because the constitution says I can if i'm a law abiding citizen.
Tell me this what happens if O'Rourke gets into office, he has said point blank " Hell yes we will take away your AR15's and AK47's, and that's just a start, what's next ????????
O'Rourke is a Clown and panders to the left and tries to tell people what we deserve, he's no Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams or Alexander Hamilton, he's a rich Ahole that wants to be in control and tell us citizens what we need and don't need, it's not going to happen if we all stand up and exercise our constitutional rights.
O'Rourke needs to be defeated every time he attempts to run for public office, we have idiots like him here in California and that's what is killing this state but in Texas Censored that's hard to believe.
The media tried discounting Trump 3-4 years ago and he proved them wrong and won, never under estimate your opponent, crazier thing have happened, that's why we are both #3 on the list.
Sorry for such a long rant I just strongly believe in our constitutional rights , especially our 2nd
