There is not much info out there on these Babies. It appears they were released about the time of the lawsuit. The visual comparison to the .44 Auto Mag is undeniable. I have not heard anything about how many actually got produced but I have not seen or heard of a serial number over B00239 so I have deduced there are less than 250 out there. Maybe less if Harry jumped some serial numbers, as per custom :). Any further info would be greatly appreciated.

They came with 3 different sight inserts and an allen wrench for change-outs. I think it came with the Orange stripe installed and the white stripe and serrated ramp came in a plastic bag with an allen wrench.

I just recently noticed they styled the ejection port similar to the Baby and the Auto Mag. Here is a side by side with a regular Lightning.

I have seen a ton of AMT brochures with the Automag II on the cover. This is the only one I've run across like this. It would have predated the other brochure because the Automag II was not listed. Notice the Bulls Eye on the front cover and a full page ad for it on the inside. It came with a 1/1/87 dealers price sheet showing the Bulls Eye as 6 1/2" Target Rib. I don't have the prior price list or the 88'. I do have an 89' from a distributor close-out, that I could use some help explaining, and it doesn't show the Bulls Eye.
