Certainly weather wise and inherent beauty (although every state has it's own beauty) California can't be beat however political climate and cost of living- housing here just sux. I could not afford to buy my own house any longer, I'm always amazed when I see much larger and much more costly homes sell in days. I was a very well paid IT ( system architect, development and implementation) guy and yet I felt like a pauper. In retirement it sure as heck isn't better. Watching and hearing Newsome and the rest of these clowns wanting to give away the farm while tightening the screws on law abiding citizens makes me ill. Illegals are to get services free that I have to pay an arm and leg for after 50 years in the workforce? I just hate to have to consider giving up my native state but I find myself feeling less and less a part of the culture here and I'm not just talking the anti-gun climate; that's just one small example. I speak to so many people who feel as I do yet as you say these far leftists keep getting elected. I can say for certain that they don't get my vote Apologies for the out of place rant, I'll go back to my corner now.. Eagerly awaiting full tilt New AMP production!

I'm surprised we can still buy screws for anything here in the People's Paradise of California; however I've heard that the 'leaders' of this state are missing a few so perhaps we might use those.

Tank, a friend of mine sold up and moved from Cali to TX about 10 years ago - with what he made on his Cali house, he was able to pay cash for a nice TX house and bank the other 50%. Just a thought - but having moved many times myself I know how difficult it can be, what with ties and all.

Some while back I'd put myself on the notify list for NAM's new magazine (15a - New Magazine Assy. (works with both original and Classic Auto Mags) Part #15A). I received an email early this morning that they were back in stock but I didn't get the chance to go out to their site and check it. This afternoon when I did go look I received a 'Product not found' error upon clicking the product link that was embedded in the email.
Did anyone else get this notification? Did anyone actually buy a magazine?

Yup! I saw that email as well. I grabbed a couple of mags off of ebay a couple months ago... so no worries.
I'm much more concerned about the delays in the pistol than the magazines at this point.

Well... I ordered and paid for my Automag over a year ago. Time to call it quits I guess.

Based on what exactly? All the recent good news and apparent optimism?

Well, nobody has gotten a delivery. That is the reality we are dealing with.
