That is a gun in progress....not fully assembled or tweaked yet.  Hence...no rear sight.

Here is a Rohrbaugh R9 custonized by Bob Cogan.  I bought the custom grips from Eric Rohrbaugh that were made by Hogue as a trial.

Looks similar.

What do you guys think of the grip pattern?

I, personally, don't like it....from an aesthetic perspective.

Functionally, they will be awesome.

I think G-10 in the second series grip pattern would be a LOT more visually appealing.

I am BEGGING to have the vendor make G-10s in a variety of colors.

Imagine the second series pattern in this color scheme:

That color.....

but this pattern:

Hello AutoMag enthusiasts,

I wanted to address the above Grips. We have worked closely with the team over at Hogue to produce a updated quality and comfortable grip to bring the AutoMag into the modern age. Yes many other styles and colors will be available in the months to come. Our team here at Excel Industries all have fired this new grip pattern and can tell you that with this new grip the bite from the recoil is all but gone. We all found this very comfortable to shoot. A more traditional grip with the second series checkering and front swooping border is being developed for the "Founders Edition" and I am sure Patrick will share pictures with you soon.
