I think you are correct.  Late production TDE, El Monte gun.  I have written about the High Standard question here  http://www.blackstonear.com/   in the "Is it Original" article.

Thank you for the link to the excellent information. I will get in contact with the person from whom I acquired that one. When talking to him he said he was the original purchaser and only owner of it. I'll get confirmation and some more details about his purchase. For me it is a shooter so that's how I place my value on it. I've been through as much of the technical data as I could find already. Now I'm loving the rich history associated with these and my curiosity has be fully piqued.

Schwammy, Suggest you buy Berts book, this will be nearer complete than anything else.
